Sort of yeah. But they are made in Japan and the leather quality is top notch

I'm not sure but I think they use washable k leather instead of scotchguard. Idk how much of a difference that makes.

Just got back from Osaka. Meeting went very well today. Thanks again for all of your help!

I met with Miyamoto Satoshi who is basically the head of everything involving Mizuno Football globally. We had a very good chat after my presentation. He really didn't reveal much in terms of product and what he did reveal I obviously can't talk about.

For the most part we talked about sales and strategies about how to approach markets.

He really liked the idea of opening up the Morelia Easy Order system globally!

Should i ask the seller for replacement? Im afraid there would be a huge different of quality compared to the normal model though.

FYI i played about 5 times a week and that is the only pair i have. I really need the boots to last me a long while.

Might be off topic but I'll share that I do not wear the same boots two days in a row, I clean them up let them dry and typically rotate between three pair of a given boot. The other thing I don't generally do is use leather boots on turf, that puts significant wear at least for me because of how I play.

I also tend to rotate several pairs of boots at a time. I have no problem wearing my leather boots on turf. Of course considering they are Mizuno thats probably why I have no issues.

Since the regular one is made in Japan maybe not but even so I think it doesn't matter that much because you have a sample which is cool because its so rare to find sample pairs. If anything it makes yours really unique! I would definitely keep them if I were you

I don't have direct experience with samples but I assume the quality of materials and finish are as good if not better than normal product off the line. Why would a sample be anything short of best case scenario?

If it's the leather 1) it's not made in Japan and 2) Samples are not normally made with final specs. There is normally some tweaking between the sample and the final product

it wasn't replaced. The TMs studs were the same length as your MD/FG ones with the addition of smaller studs on the sides for more stability. Its claim to fame was that it was more durable on AG.

Mizuno claims its current Morelia's also have that added durability on AG, so its pretty close to FG/AG. Although then again their idea of AG studs are the Morelia Wave stud configuration so take that in mind aha
