Convincing-ish sounding rumours about Jovic to Barca this summer.

Good player, probably good time to sign him. I thought we wouldn't sign anyone this important to our attack this summer, and maybe we won't, but if true, I like this deal. Not a million strikers out there who tick so many boxes as him.

Was coming to post same news/rumor, these both say we have come to terms with him but not his club, Eintracht Frankfurt: https://www.marca.com/en/football/barcelona/2019/02/11/5c61685822601d84368b45ea.html

    https://www.sport-english.com/en/news/barca/faz-barca-reach-agreement-with-luka-jovic-7297530

Good article about his history and financial dealings with weird terms, biggest takeaway being the Eintracht can buy him for 6M Euros and sell him for far more (20M value cited at time of article has now doubled on transfermarkt): http://fussballstadt.com/luka-jovic-scouted/

Also, Ferland Mendy has a price supposedly, of 35 to 40M, too high for a back up LB, should have kept Digne, or stick with La Masia for back up. https://www.sport-english.com/en/ne...r-asking-price-for-barca-target-mendy-7297440

Luka Jovic is the kinda player that can fail or succeed, but given that he only just turned 21, is the leading scorer in BuLi, doesn't play for a club who manages to keep their best players, and that many big clubs are trying to find their long-term number one ST from a kinda thin market (Barca, RM, Bayern at least), he is bound to move, soon, and to me, looks like the rumoured prices are the kinda numbers that he will look like a steal in the future.

Pretty good suggests 'good' .. he was good but he's largely ineffective nowadays so if class him as average at best ..

    We all see things differently..

Good move by the club, expected as well. Hoping for the best possible things for his reign, however long it lasts (obviously not expecting decades).

Disaster! Most idiotic move to renew a clueless mid table minded coach. Still actually it doesn't matter, if he messes everything up which he will, he'll be fired anyway. But then with good payoff.

Why didn’t we go for Cazorla ?!

He would walk into our midfield ..

News in Brazil is, Barca is buying 2 U-20 players from my team for 20m Euros. One is a left back (Lucas Candido) and another one is a CB (Vitão). Personally I don't anything about them, the LB is supposed to be good.

Here is the kicker though ... we want Malcom on a loan until the end of they year because we bought some guy that was playing in Egypt that's already looking like a bust.

I think we would at least win the UCL or even the treble by next season. Valverde doesn’t seem to be an expert when it comes to big competition like CL so I’m not really expecting much. That Roma choke is something I cannot erase from my mind.

Liverpool’s Firmino is a perfect fit for us .. he’s maybe not gonna score 30 goals a season but we have Messi as the main scorer ..
