More than space, the problem is the cost. Land in Bogotá is very expensive and a stadium commands massive use of a terrain, with relatively low occupancy . If the club is not on solid financial ground the risks of building a stadium are too high.

I think the right approach would be to develop an existing piece on infrastructure to make it work for the club. There are numerous facilities around the city (or within a short trip) that could be expanded to a 25-30k with a creative partnership....

Equidad has Techo..... Maybe Millos could redevelop Hipo Andes....

I’m just daydreaming here, but actually having the Campin stadium damaged by concerts on a regular basis is a strong reason for teams to manage their own facilities. Furthermore, 8-10 million people means that there’s market for both, concerts and football, at least in raw numbers.

Probably we’ll see the metro being completed before we see another private stadium in Bogotá...

So that's what happened. That pitch was in terrible condition.

I think its a very smart signing. Now we got Duvier, Del Valle and Ovelar. Not bad

Half time and Millos up 1-0.

Good move on the Ovelar signing.

Don’t you have the feeling that this could have be closed down in the first leg?

Too many missed opportunities... The good news is that Santafue lacks attacking options...

It really should've been won by a larger margin. There were a few chances in counters that should've been goals, or at least shots on goal, but they just fizzled out. Frustrating to watch.
I do like that kid Huerfano, though he did lose the ball in a couple of those counters today for holding on to it too long. But he has potential. Hopefully he'll get the chance to prove it next season.

Well, to be honest, Santa Fe also had several good chances, especially in the first half, but I agree that Millos was the better team overall and won fair and square. The problem is really the margin and you can ask Deportivo Cali why :D. Anyway, I believe Sunday will be a good game and I have a feeling that Millonarios won't let this opportunity to slip away. Duque and Macalister for me were the best players on the field.

Yeah the 1-0 lead makes me a bit uncomfortable. Still, I think that Millos can take it. Just hope that those missed opportunities won't come back and bite us in the ass.

I just hope that Riascos proves me wrong and earns his paycheck on Sunday. He has been playing like crap these last games.

Millonarios justo campeón del FPC. Excelente juego de Santa Fe, no bajaron los brazos en ningún momento. Esta fue sin duda una de las mejores definiciones de campeonato que he visto en 10 años.

Congrats Millos fans. Well deserved. Really exciting game that felt like a true final.

Amazing cojones for the President of Millos to extend the DT contract well prior to even getting into playoffs--in a time where there more questions than answers for this Millos team. After the whole Cocca debacle last year, it seemed that Millos would never be capable of hiring the right type of DT. Vikonis is also a very good GK. Not sure how Farinez will even get a chance to take his seat considering Farinez is also ready to play big games? Maybe loaned out? and with Ovelar as well, this Millos team looks like a group of hard workers.

They do have to work on their defensive block a bit better for CL.... Santa Fe had several counter-attacks that could have ended up in goals... Some teams in CL will not be so forgiving.

Wow. Talk about a team that got hot at the right time and another team that got relatively cold at the wrong time.

Man.. What a game. Had to call out from work yesterday lol.. too much celebrating. I think Millos just clicked at the right time with a very mediocre roster. They just seem to want for that Santa Fe and they never gave up. Great Championship.
