People followed Ortega's progress all throughout his time in Germany. The Colombian media reported on his progress (or lack thereof) regularly. There are several reports from posters tracking each of Leverkusen's matches while he was there. Junior fans were ecstatic to sign him; everybody else was frustrated he couldn't make it. But still, there was hope he'd turn it around. Even Pekerman mentioned how such a talented kid was wasting his potential.

I'd rather not recall Pino's flare out...

I said nobody is disappointed that Zapata is returning, but I should edit that. Hardly anybody cares that he's coming back. And that's because hardly anybody knows who he is. The kid had a decent Calusura in 2013. He was never, ever close to being one of the best players in FPC.

I know you're not comparing the player's abilities. You started off by saying that he's likely to fade away just like Pino and Ortega, which, sadly, I agree with. I disagree with your prognosis that the kid was some great player in Colombia before he left or ever reached the status of Ortega or Pino as a prospect. He was just another talented sub 20 that Envigado produces on a yearly basis. Udinese buys tons of kids, most of whom aren't considered first tier prospects. Rememember Ricardo Chara? Yeah, me neither. Zapata basically was what Michael Lopez is now. Until a a foreign club snaps him up, he'll only be on the radar of youth experts like Baal.

Pino had 2 godlike games against 19 years olds. Then a super amazing goal against Argentinas U20..... people 10 years LATER YES IT WAS 10 years.... and still talking about him. He sucks.

    puro trolleo

Alexis Zapata & duvier Riascos will sign for Millos. I think they both are good reinforcements.

Wasn't Riascos on of the top strikers in Brazil? Pretty good reinforments but isn't this team almost bankrupt?

In Mexico. He helped Tijuana to win the title. Then he moved to Brazil but was average and had discipline problems.

Thought he called out Pekerman for not calling him while being a top scorer in Brazil.

He was in a decent form in part of the time, but he was never a top scorer in Brazil.

We did surprisingly better than I thought. Specially the last 20 minutes. We have a realistic chance to turn this around in Bogotá. Macalister Silva had a good game, good passes and hit the post once.

What I've heard is that they will not be carrying many/any games. I have a concoction to get RCN/Caracol/Winsports but have not tried it for games. Will see if it works.

really disappointed by what's happened by having no representation in the US. Even trying to get a youtube feed gets kicked out fairly easy. If I was a betting man, this has to do with no Mexican teams participating in the CL.

Wait, Fox Deportes/Sports in the US is not going to carry the Libertadores? Has this been announced somewhere, has it been confirmed?

Fox Sports has been showing the CL for what, 15 years? Longer?

I didn't see the match vs. Paranaense. Millonarios can turn things around?

I didn't get to watch the entire match, too many interruptions. But from what I saw in the last half hour, and from what the announcers were saying, then yes. I think that things can be turned around in Bogota. Another factor in our favor is that Brazilian teams tend to be affected the altitude.
