how awesome would it be if milan's last home game at san siro was a victory in the CL final. one can dream!
It seems Barbara has been planning our new stadium for quite a while and the project is at an advanced stage it will be based on the Alianz Arena! 60-65k Milan wants to have the new stadium ready for the 2017-2018 season. http://www.milannews.it/primo-piano/...l-milan-136353 Forza Lady B!!!!
This is great news. The Serie A needs some major overhaul's of many of thier stadiums. Juventus made the wise decision to build their beautiful Juventus Arena. Now,many other teams need to follow their lead.
Milan abandon EXPO plans http://football-italia.net/45201/milan-abandon-expo-plans welp. there goes that idea. 300M sounds cheap for a 60k stadium.
Milan: AC Milan confirm interest in land for new stadium http://stadiumdb.com/news/2014/03/milan_ac_milan_confirm_interest_in_land_for_new_stadium
Anyone actually believe in the rumors? I find it difficult to see through, but it would be a good move
more smoke after the new emirates deal... http://www.espnfc.us/italian-serie-...home-take-step-forward-as-bid-for-site-tabled http://football-italia.net/59851/milans-‘emirates’-2019 we don't dare let ourselves get excited yet, do we?
42,000 seats seems kind of low, no? i mean nobody buys tickets anymore, but surely you'd want a bigger stadium
more progress. one of us was bound to leave, i just hope that milan are still committed to renovating the stadium before the CL final
that stadium is terrible. my gripe with stadiums today is that they are not unique and like wembley look like office blocks, milan have taken that a step further and actually designed it on office blocks, when you see close ups of players you can instantly tell what stadium it is in just by seeing a little bit of the stands, this looks like juves inside which looks like many others, these guys are killing football with their all business attitudes, when euro fans teams get drawn against milan those fans look forward to and sometimes only go because they want to visit san siro, cant see fans rubbing their hands together with the prospect of watching milan play at IKEA, aint no one got time for that
You're correct. The Stadio San Paolo is horrible. Any stadium with a running track is garbage. How can you enjoy watching the game when you're so far away from the action on the field. Juventus Stadium is the best stadium in Italy. Compare the two stadiums. Stadio San Paolo http://stadiumdb.com/stadiums/ita/stadio_san_paolo Juventus Stadium http://stadiumdb.com/stadiums/ita/juventus_stadium
Even though Stadio Olimpico seems to be in better condition than Stadio San Paolo, both stadiums are not good due to having running tracks.
