Any move is a good move at this point, he's not playing. He seems to wear out his welcome pretty fast so don't get your hopes up even if it does go through.

He could also go to Scandinavia.

This dude just bounces around from club to club in the League 1. I don't get why he doesn't try his hand at clubs in Scandinavia or Austria or Switzerland.

You can only go where you have offers. I'm not sure that the typical Swiss club scouts bench players in League One very heavily.

Wondered where he went. I used to think highly of him while he was at Leeds. But what a fall he's had. Go to MLS, refind yourself buddy.

    A little birdie told me...

But to be fair, Giffenbone told me about Grella's signing. I'm just passing the news along. I don't really know much about Grella. Best of luck to him with this new team.

I've heard he missed a funny sitter today - "took on 4 defenders, went around the keeper and then fell over" as it was described to me :D

Only change the team name in the title.

This thread title has to be GOAT.

Grella scored today as he went the distance in a 1-0 home win against AFC Bournemouth.

Well that's some good news out of him. I have had (and am still holding onto) higher hopes for Mike. Hopefully he can get his apparently massive ego under control and play the game like he knows how.

That's two weeks in a row that he's scored a goal. Plus, this was a highly important goal and win in their fight against relegation.

Grella bagged a brace yesterday as Bury secured their place in League 1 for next season. His mini scoring streak has been crucial.

One of Grella's goals featured on Soccer AM's League One and League Two goals of the week - a neat little chip.

Maybe Grella has found a home:

AMERICAN striker Mike Grella and right back Andrai Jones have been offered deals to keep them at Gigg Lane, as the Bury retain list was revealed this week.

Manager Richie Barker has fulfilled his pledge to offer 25-year-old New Yorker Grella a contract after he weighed in with an all-important four goals towards the end of the season.

Some speculation that it's Preston North End.
