Looks like he everything set to leave for besiktas in January but the coach stopped the transfer because of financial problems. I feel like this was his last season in Brazil.

This copa libertadores has given some of our players good moments to stand out. I am very optimistic about the transfer window next month.

Diaz of Junior, Borja and Barrios are the only ones who will make the jump. Barrera should have too but he is was too gunho to sign a contact then to wait for the euro transfer window to open

Very disappointing. After his time in Nacional and his success at the beginning in Brazil I was sure that he'll be on his way to Europe. At the end he was inconsistent and when he got the chance from Pekerman he didn't take it. He's 26-27 and still has years to play but I guess only to be a good league player.

Goes from leading goal scorer of the Libertadores to bencher who can't buy a goal recently.

He is just in a bad funk and it is probably mostly mental. Going back to Colombia could be the best thing for him.Junior seems to be the rumored spot.

Great to see him get on the scoreboard again in the Libertadores.
Hopefully it is the start of a hot streak.

Not the greatest of games for Borja last night in the Libertadores but he did score again. It was a gift of a goal but he will take it.

Most important signing in Colombian Football history...did they just ignore Alfredo Di Stéfano?

Di Stefano didn't play there, it was Garrincha for one match. But forget it, for me their best signing in the history was Matias Fernandez... ;) Kidding of course, but I do think that Teo's signing was more important then this one.
Regardless, I love Borja, he is a wonderful striker but he also very rusty. Let's see how it'll work.

    It is good for Junior.
It is also good for Borja in the sense that he can get his rhythm back and has always played well there in the Libertadores. Now instead of being a Junior killer he will be their star.

For his National Team aspects though we have to wait and see. We all know Queiroz could not care less about the Colombian League players.

It will be good to see him back playing regularly but he's really disappeared at a horrible time for his prospects for the NT, its gonna take a huge resurgence for him to get back anytime soon with the guys ahead of him now. Either way you never know with injuries so its always good to have more strikers in the mix.
