Hoyos starts at left wing and goes 52 min: http://us.soccerway.com/matches/201...n-fc/levadiakos-fc/1523788/?ICID=HP_MS_119_01
Hoyos started and went 73 minutes today as he scored his first goal for Crete in their 2-1 win over Panetolikos.
Here's the goal (play starts at 1:3o). Nice finish off an angle. http://www.contra.gr/Soccer/Hellas/Superleague/17agonistiki/ofh-panaitwlikos-2-1.2563370.html
Hoyos goes '77, ends in 0-0 draw. http://us.soccerway.com/matches/201...eague/panionios-nfc/ofi-heraklion-fc/1523812/
He played five minutes and got a yellow card in a 0-2 away win today. http://us.soccerway.com/matches/201...anias/ofi-heraklion-fc/1523828/?ICID=PL_MS_10
He also started a mid-week Cup game against 10th place Kalloni. http://us.soccerway.com/matches/2014/01/16/greece/cup/ael-kallonis/ofi-heraklion-fc/1603258/ It's a shame he just started getting playing time - I think he could be a major factor for us in the next cycle.
I know that. I was just making the point that if you're good enough for Argentina's u-20 team, you're probably good enough for many major clubs around the world (and the USMNT).
I haven't seen him play since prior to his accident, I thought he had the physical ability to play, at 6'1 and physically strong I though he had a chance to one day be a good DCM. Sounds that he now prefers to be more involved in the attack than before. If I remember correctly he has a cannon of a shot.
Hoyos out with an injury for Crete's match today. Google translate says it's a "biceps" injury, but that must be a bad translation. http://www.cretesports.gr/ofi/item/16924-me-apousies-kai-xoris-ogios-gia-apotelesma.html
https://twitter.com/JeffreyCarlisle/status/430507624090836992 Jeff Carlisle tweeted that Michael's loan has ended with Crete and his agent, Ted Philipakos, said his client is interested in a move to MLS.
Argentina press reporting Michael is back training with Estudiantes' first team. An Estudiantes fan club reports that Hoyos left Crete because they owed him money. His contract with Estudiantes lasts until June 2015 - still has time to prove his worth. The Argentina league season just started last week. http://www.eldia.com.ar/edis/20140212/Pellegrino-achico-cancha-20140212132631.htm https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=601732973228766
If he can get some playing time with Estudiantes, I'd love to see him called up for the friendly against Mexico in April.
It appears that Michael can't play in Estudiantes' reserve games until a dispute with his Greek club Crete is resolved. I imagine this has something to do with his International Transfer Certificate. http://diariohoy.net/el-clasico/aguardan-por-la-habilitacion-de-michael-hoyos-22255
Looks like he got a new contract with Estudiantes along with his brother: http://www.eldia.com.ar/edis/20140617/Arranco-Reserva-deportes6.htm @bungadiri - Michael Hoyos at Estudiantes de La Plata?

This article reporting that Hoyos is still not eligible for Estudiantes, not clear why though. Still may be a dispute with old club OFI Crete. http://www.edelpoficial.com.ar/node/2282
Hoyos has moved to a new team: Sarmiento in the Argentinian second division. He's signed an 18-month contract with them. http://translate.google.com/transla...Hoyos-muda-Junin-Luna-esta-arde-deportes5.htm
