The youtube video has been removed.

Hopefully this link from the DFB works for highlights:

    http://www.bundesliga.de/de/bundesl...-tv/inc/video_flv/spieltag/0000142731.inc.php

Bradley's shot off the post begins at minute 1:23 of the DFB highlights.

    1) another Bradley-article worth mentioning here:
    http://www.rp-online.de/niederrhein...a/Michael-Bradley-als-Vorbild_aid_795809.html
(sorry, I don't have the time to translate it today)

    2) according to tabloid EXPRESS (http://www.express.de/sport/fussbal...bel-vor-nordkurve/-/3286/1133758/-/index.html) Bradley performed creepy at the beginning of the season but currently has "zementiert" (that's more stable than just stable) his place in midfield
Bradley-quotes in view of the Leverkusen-match:
    from EXPRESS
"We trust in ourselves … we're without fear and will enforce OUR style of play."
and BLÖD (sorry, that's BILD ;-):
"A good game for another highlight" and "I love duels like that."
(Goethe's "I hear the message well but lack Faith's constant trust" comes to my mind ;))

    3) as a part of Borussia's fanclub-christmas-program Michael and Dante visited an association of handicapped people on Sunday

The German posters are what make this thread worth reading.

At the beginning of the season the Gladbach supporters on this board were speaking of midtable respectability. I thought maybe there were some changes in Germany's drug laws. Good to see the supporters proven correct.

I recall almost no German, but does the last sentence of the Torfabrik report compare some aspects of his shot to Mattheus, or to a particular goal of Mattheus's?

A strong game from the American. He was really found everyone, won almost all the battles, caused great displacements, and above all always moved with and without the ball in the offered spaces. He made a remarkable play when he snapped the ball before Fromlowitz got to the ball, and then had the bad luck that his lob landed on the crossbar. It was a shame, since a back pass to the teammates who were running with him was also possible. With his free kick, the 22 year old had a little luck, in that a gap opened up in the wall. The style of his stunning shot reminded one a little bit of the young Matthaeus.

    I'll give it a try:

"A strong game by the American. He was really to be found everywhere, won almost all the tackles, provided good shifts [Verlagerungen: passes?] and marched with and especially without the ball time and again into the spaces that offered themselves. Telling was the move as he aggressively won the ball in front of Fromlowitz and then was unlucky that his lob landed on the crossbar. Too bad, because a back pass to his colleagues following behind would have been possible. In his free kick the 22-year-old had a little luck that a gap in the wall opened up. The manner of the massive shot looked a bit like the young Matthaeus."

Man, if Mikey could become another Matthaeus... But I'd give up a little of Lothar's talent for not having to put up with his personality. ;)

"Verlagerung" here: A pass changing the direction of an attack.

    Perfect!
So we also have a reminiscence of the young Bobby Fisher... minus personality issues again. ;)

    He receives good reviews:
    Role model Michael Bradley
    Wild cheering with the Nordkurve

'Glad' our Boy is Bach' in the Mix
    Never look Bach'
How do you say "nepotism" in German? (I know, I know, we're trying to get away from this, I had to throw in one...)

I submit that Mike has graduated past the need for clever titles to threads.

And he's only 22!!! CMs don't hit their prime until 26-29, his future is bright.
