I love how people bring up about the US as if they are needed or guarantee shit. Yeah like all those world cups and semifinals runs that Peru, Chile and Colombia have because of playing with Brazil or Argentina. Or those World cups participation that Guatemala and El Salvador have because of Mexico.

Maybe it was the other guy. Doing both of you at the same time in the same topic blurs things at times. Point still stands though, without the femexfut thing. Oh,you saying the femex got on the phone after Confeds? So...if this is the action(not much, but something) we get with Germany loss, imagine what would happen if our actual rivals did well. Just sayin'

On your last point: you're stretching...blurring the point. You not wanting to see U.S. win wc is different than rejoicing/wanting in our competition not making the world cup. I call people blind when they don't see how beneficial it is for our main competition to get better. Anyway.

Lulz. Ah, must be nice. Now it's not ignorance, it's a choice. Wow. Jesus.

Keep that progressive mentality going, dragon.

You get that kind of attitude with lost causes, and that's exactly what the Mexican federation is. And unfortunately, their bullshit affects pur national team, which is why we have the same problems time and time again. A long overhaul will never happen unless Femexfut all of a sudden gets ambitious.

Yeah, they justify their actions and refuse to see what they think affects what they do and continues the cancer.

A long overhaul will never happen until your neighbor shows up with a new mercedes and plans to add a pool to their house. That is why you don't want to see your neighbor with the mercede...because it means you have to get up off your ass and make a change. Or when the wife and kids force you to.

I hope the analogy does not get lost on you.

This analogy is just a continuation of what I said about getting ambitious, but I don't see Mexico to eager to improve upon seeing world class nations like Germany absolutely dominating their opponents. As far as the wife/kids bit, which refers to the fans, they would have to show determination by not attending any games ever again until Mexico makes that change, that could take at least a decade provided Mexico does shitty against their fellow opponents in CONCACAF and misses out on World Cups. You have more chances of hitting the lottery than those two things ever happening.

It's a continuation of what you've been saying? Huh. Interesting. I wonder what all those previous posts were about, then. Hashtag befuddled?

We're on the same side, I'm just a bit more realistic when it comes to the issue because I have no faith in those who run our federation, and also no faith in the fans taking a real stand against our corrupt federation.

Yeah. That's crazy. I'm softening up some--losing my edge, as it were. Here I am, only calling people wanting the U.S. to fail complete backwater thinking gnat for brains, in a metaphoric...idealistic sort of way. I should have been more concrete.

It's understandable, ask me a few years ago, I probably would've been completely agreeing with you. But I've seen too much bullshit from our corrupt directivos and the blind masses to see the situation getting any better. The only thing that actually has been helping is academies like Pachuca and Chivas molding some very talented players and using them. A more talented Tri can beat all these odds, it'll just take a while.

They are guaranteeing Mexico get to host 10 World Cup games for the 2026 WC, lol. If the region is to grow and there is an improvement to the regional tourneys it will be propelled by the U.S. It is no surprise why Liga MX wants to invite MLS clubs to Copa MX games.

Props to Luis Ángel Landín for scoring the last-minute game-winner for Herediano against Alajuelense!

"But that's not Landín!" You're right - the camera went to his teammate who was celebrating more effusively :ROFLMAO:

QEPD to Ronald Koeman's time at Everton...I don't see how he stays on much longer.

    FT: 2-5 Arsenal.

US improvement doesn't guarantee shit for Mexico. It's all on Mexico. They can as just be left behind as improve like some people talk about.
