    Lol people gave JDS shit for riding the coattails of those Barca titles. Lainez wouldn't have contributed whatsoever to Ajax's UCL run.

    This Ajax squad is going to be gutted this summer like Monaco were in 2017. Not just the young guys, but players like Ziyech and Tagliafico will most likely leave as well. They'll be an entirely different team next season and their future Euro performances will be more in line to PSV's UCL performance this season.

    I've always maintained that Ajax would have been better for Lainez because of coaching and development. This is a club that relies on selling players they polish...

    Zlatan, Suarez, Christian Eriksen are some notable examples of non-Dutch, attacking players to say nothing of guys like Frenkie De Jong and Matthijs De Ligt. Even through coaching changes, the philosophy remains the same.
