Luis Suárez pidiendo mano tras una parada del portero… Lo que hace la costumbre culé…. https://t.co/E32boColXy— Madrid Sports (@MadridSports_) June 25, 2019
I had heard reports about this, but seeing the video is it that he was saying it was a corner since he touched it?
Eeh not really his level has dipped, so far the best player has been Jonathan Jimenez (LB) who has contributed offensively nicely. As it stands this squad can be good but the system he’s running 4-5-1 is brutal for Nelson Bonilla who is all alone up top, which makes the choice of keeping Dennis Pineda at home perplexing.
The semi pressure Honduras is giving them and they don’t have the tact to get rid of the ball quickly. This is a result of the players not being used to having any sort of pressure back in the local league, these same mistakes have shown at club level as well.
Panama better win tomorrow because Curacao will just fold because they’ll be content to have just made it out of group play.
I’m more mad that this will continue DLC is quite the fraudulent coach but given that’s the Feds guy they will find some cheap excuses and keep him around. I much preferred Lara dude wanted offense and the team looked more dynamic under him, this current squad is toothless.
If DLC survives this, though, he's pretty much set until next year - unless Montserrat get their revenge and actually beat SLV, in which case he should resign on the spot.
