    That's brilliant.

One of Lavolpe's lovers is a lifetime Hugo admirer.

    I like him now.

Just as long as he doesn't play in Germany this summer.

I would think he's behind Pardo and Torrado for a spot on the field and behind Chato for a spot on the bench. And I guess he's there with Gerardo Galindo fighting to displace Chato on said bench.

I ordered all three of them.

But I still wonder.. what about those early 90s VHS tapes of Hugo Sanchez?

The infamous ones everyone's family member has, but not the original version.

I had a copy of one for a while.

Could be in the parentals' entertainment unit.

The last time I saw an actual copy, or at least a bootleg, was in a Tianguis in Jerez.

Someone here has got to know what I'm talking about.

    The elusive Hugo tapes.

    3 of them in all.

The measuring stick by which any Mexican player must match, but never will.

    All in that collection.

Solo se cuidaba las piernas, my ass.

Madrid will kick the living crap out of Arsenal.

Barca will kick the living crap out of Chelsea.

Villareal will kick the living crap out of Rangers.

Marseille will kick the living crap out of Bolton.

I was thinking the other day, about this.

But if a club team is playing crappy it would be because the players are playing crappy right?

So if these players were to be called to a national team wouldn't it be logical to assume that the national team would be crappy also? ;)

    Logic and Football don't mix.

I mean, Ronaldo has become a fat, roving beast repeatedly since 2000.

And yet, come World Cup time, he will more than likely turn it up and put in another 5-6 goals.

In the meantime, he will do little to nothing at Real Madrid.

If you consider 15 more goals nothing.

Which, apparently, the fans at the Bernabeu do.

    poor guy gets no respect.

he's not the same ronaldo that terrorized teams and was the world's best at twenty years old, but he'll still score two on you.

it won't be as nice, but goals are goals.

    Brazilians defy logic. ;)

I was talking about all the Chivas players en el tri.

They have like 8, yet they still suck haven't won anything in 10 years. But people expect them to do great once they put the green shirt on.

Who do they think they are Cuauhtemoc. :D

Wow did anyone watch jorge ramos' show? Some Toluca fan said that he would rather have America lose than Toluca win.

    2) America
    3) Chivas

I believe UNAM fans outnumber Azulinos.

And under El Rey Hugol, we probably had quite the overflow of Club America & CD Guadalajara fans.

I hate AMERIKA, KRUZ AZUL and AZUL KREMA KAOS RITUAL LOKOS DEL RITMO type people.

Chuntazul has less fans than unam... that violates conservation of mass and sh1t... they breed like roaches... ademas, comun y corriente casi son sinonimos.

Re: Hugo's Football Related Random Thoughts Thread - HUGOL!

    The Chivas DVD sucks...

the America DVD talks about its highs and lows... they talk about losing the Cruz Azul final in 72 and then talk about the revenge in 88...they also talk about America winning the 2 finals against Pumas. They mention the controversy. And they also show them losing the final on that Tuca Ferreti free kick. They talk about the 82/83 season when America broke every record (points, most goalsgoals, most wins, etc) only to be cheated by E. Codesal and lose to Chivas in the semis... and then they talk about the following season where america gets revenge and beats them in the final (only america-chivas final to date)

Same thing with the Pumas DVD. They talk about the teams high point and low points. They talk about losing to Cruz Azul, America in the finals. They also talk about them beating them in the finals...

HOWEVER, the Chivas DVD leaves out a lot of stuff out. Oh yeah, they talk about campeonisimo. They talk about beating the super America team from the 82/83 season and the fools even say that they played dirty (fouling atleast 50 times in the first half and HARD fouls). Talk about the brawl after the game... BUT it then skips to the 86 championship....THATS RIGHT.... they dont mention the season after beating the America super team. WHY WOULD THEY LEAVE OUT SOMETHING SIGNIFICANT LIKE LOSING A FINAL TO YOUR ARCHRIVAL?? hmmmmmmmm

I think that is about accurate. America can charge 50% (US friendly fees)more than Chivas, Cruz Azul, UNAM because they attract more people (fans an haters).
