Also remember European teams will not be available for friendlies anymore, not to mention the chance that the Confederations Cup is already a thing for the past. This means Mexico probably won't play top tier opposition until 2022.
I don't blame UEFA to be fair, they have a point about meaningless friendlies being more damaging than anything. I do, however, blame FMF for clearly messing up our relationship with CONMEBOL in order to prioritise CONCACAF. We got out of Sudamericana and Libertadores already, this is another nail in the coffin.

Lol like I had said earlier. The people ahead of FMF are an embarrassment and just want to fill their pockets.. this is a direct response to us taking shit teams to the copa America.. Missing out on copa libertadores was already a huuuuuuuuge blow to our exposure and I feel like this is the final nail in the coffin.. We’re in for a tough next 10 years of the national team
Not to justify the existent corruption in our federation, but I point the finger at all those idiots who buy tickets for parties moleros. This is the result of them not taking a stand.
Can't take this from them mayne.. Our Football team gives some of our people here in the states some pride.
Besides I don't think the FMF is the sole suspect nor the main suspect. CONCACAF ( Nations League) and UEFA (A Team Player restrictions) is where it's at.
You hit it where it hurts.............but sad to say that those people that buy those tickets for molero games, are no other than........................Mexicans. It might not be you, it might not be me.............it might not be some othe guy around here................but for the most part, its La Raza buying those tickets either way. It sure as hell aint Colombians, or Chileans...............or Croatians..........or Canadians............its our own mediocre people, unfortunately.
I go see every game I can with whatever Mexico team shows up. I live in Atlanta and the only fut I can get is MLS. I've been to a game and thanks but no thanks. If la seleccion comes anywhere close I usually go. It's fun and it's a chance to take in a game. I work for money and I like to spend it on whatever I want and that includes buying 80 dollar tickets to a "molero" to check out guys that may or may not make it to the senior team that I will certainly watch every four years. It's not a mystery why people go to these games. La Seleccion is a business and until the people in charge change then it's going to continue to be run like a business, because they'll have people like me who like going to sporting events and especially games to see the national team.
I am more selective. Whenever they come to Houston I pass on that. Personal preference, and honestly I get less and less interested the more BS I see from the FMF. Maybe eventually I just give up on this if the trend is to just maintain mediocrity of the team and results.
so you want change but dont want to do anything to bring that change.. yeah thats the fault of the people in charge alright
