Strange timing, especially for the U.S.

I really don't think their fans can bear another loss to us.

Yes it is, but i really don't see us bringing a complete squad. Especially the European based players, they all need to concentrate on winning/keeping starting spots at their clubs.

European teams are all going to be in preseason and we just played an international tournament. Not to mention we won it, so the pressure is completely off for now.

Chicharito needs to stay with Man U. Sir Alex said he would get a month of rest after the Gold Cup. This game is August 10th,thats in what 31 days? So lets say he rejoins Man U after the U.S. tour which ends i think July 28th. So he would be with the team for like 7-8 days and then leave again to play a meaningless friendly. I don't see Chepo wasting his time.

Giovani, Barrera, Moreno, Juarez and Guardado are probably all going to change teams. So they would need to stay in preseason with their new teams.

Who i would like to see is Vela, but if anyone needs to concentrate on preseason its him.

I really can't imagine what our team is going to look like.

We got the euros last august after the world cup to face Spain....I don't see a big issue since our euros would have had a months vacation, except Gio.

We'll count on torrado, Castro and rafa for sure. Aldo is a sure call up only if he doesn't go to Europe

If guardado and Barrera can't come I think well have some depth with Fabian, Pacheco, hobbit

I see duenas and reynoso getting the call if maza and Moreno can't come. I dont think mier is ready for big games like this yet

Expect Zinha to get the call

Michel and talavera will get the goalie calls

Aguilar and Torres Milo will be our RB and LB if euros can't come

I think well have a decent squad even if all our euros can't come

I expect the stadium to be 80% Tri fans, like the final of the Gold Cup a few years ago in New York. Expect Nad fan geek to go e-nazi regardless of the result.

It is a worldwide friendly day. I am guessing both sides agreed to the friendly only if it could be held on the east coast so that the travel wouldn't be so exhaustive for their euros.

In other words, I expect a full strength side.
