La primera convocatoria/ The first call up

These players were called up today, this call up does not mean that these players will face Honduras, these are players from our league, later on Sven will call up the european players. But this will give you an idea of what Mexico might bring.

Sure you do....i would call you an idiot if you were from honduras and didn't support your own team

Rueda has this team in very good shape... his approach is very professional ... light years ahead from that dude called ... what's his name ? Starts with an H ... Hugo? Yeah, Hugo Sanchez ... "the Brat"

    Well, I can't hardly wait

our offense has the edge of expirience... you can't deny it, plus they are 100% faster, Better? I don't know... maybe you'll be the ones defending...;)

well, you see ... the ingredients are all there for an upset ... just like Costa Rica did back then. The similarities are all there

Back then Mexico struggled to find a good coach, and Costa Rica were on their way up. Same speed up front and a well position midfield and defense .

edge of expierience? over our defense? you do know who rafael marquez is right?
    and Pavel Pardo..Salcido??
Suazo is good...but he can't beat 4 defenders on his own

I know who they are ... and no doubt they are good , but don't be surprised to see Suazo , Costly and Wilson Palacios ( Italy, Poland and England ) go past them bringing danger to their goal.

If you could compare Suazo to any other player who would that be
just so we get an idea

  19. ...In my defense

    Feb 11, 2006
From what I've seen of him I'd say he reminds me of Obafemi Martins.

During the 2007 calendar year I'd say Suazo was the best CONCACAF striker with Nery Castillo coming in second.

In the world???? i would say Eto'o... Form Mexico, I think you can take Nery, make him faster and maybe you get something similar...

now that we're talking about it, I'm interested in Vela... who is he like in the world???

Really some other hondureño just said donovan is up to par with him
I think i trust you thought...from what all of you hondureños have been saying he must be as good as eto'o
and if that's true then I will have to admit he worries me

Vela? well he reads plays before they happen very well, so if you can think of someone like that

    right now i can't
he's very well rounded striker if you watch videos of his you say "how did he get there" I think he's fast but it's just my opinion

oh, well... umm then Vela is like Riquelme in his better days then, Suazo is only like donovan as being the face of the team

    Que te importa?
Some of the stuff these hondureans are saying are reminiscent of what the Iranians were saying before the World Cup.

Some pretty funny stuff. Supposedly Iran was going to obliterate Mexico, because the had this one guy in the German league that was supposedly a Maradona in a camel jockey outfit.
