10 goals today from this group. Even Chicharito's PK was more exiting than the CR goals vs. Cuba.

Mexico is that good. David vs Goliath. Overwhelming offense. Very fast counter attacks and good long ball passes. But the defense did collapse. 3-4 goals within 15 minutes

First half and second half were 2 different games! We'll be back though against CR

I thought the Salvatruchos played us really well the first half. Pressured our mids and really didn't give us any space in the first half. They came out to play. I was watching it with friends and a friend remarked that the thing now was to see if the truchos could keep up with the pace and lo and behold it happened. I think Chepo must of realized this because the first ten minutes when we were getting our attack going they were all coming off long balls.

I give Mexico an 8, because the rival came out and played, in my opinion, and there were not that many offensive opportunities that were missed. Those opening 20 minutes of the second half were marvelous.

wow I missed the game but saw the highlights...5-0 is rough...and now since Cuba and ES are both already at -5 it really opens the door for the potential 3rd place finishers from the other 2 groups to really take advantage of this. I'm actually excited to see the Mexico-CR matchup from this group too!

Add La Volpe to that mix and it makes for a good matchup. Considering we booed the shit outta him, unjustly in my opinion.

Mexico has a strong squad now! El Salvador did in the first half what I expected. Bombard Mexico and press their mid field physically to disturb their passing. They couldn't do that for 90 mins and when the field was open in the second half. Mexico made them pay.

Mexico finally has a solid front with scorers that actually SCORE! Fast wingers that are creative with the passing. An veteran back line with some in the mid field. A nice combination if u ask me.

This is the best MNT Ive seen in quite some time. Fast, talented, and creative. A friend of mine who happens to be a USNT fan told me today, "Man I dont think USA can touch Mexico now" Mexico is solid and will only get better.

Looking forward to seeing them play Costa Rica!! Best game of the group!
