I expect a boring match with Mexico starting some bench players, I expect Chich out, unless they want him to go after Alves record of 11 goals in one edition. If anything, I expect Mexico to go for the tie (bunker/little offense) risking no chances.

It makes no sense to go for an all out win here, play key players.

A quien quieres presumirle, sin pasarme de mamon.

    That being said my prediction:

    Mex 2- CRC 1

Epa, cabrones. Didn't see that coming did you?

mexico might win but to call it an easy win, jus shows how arrogant you guys are when you're not really that good.

We're decent. not world beaters. but can hang with the big boys. and we actually play football. don't play with 10 players at back. we rather get beat then be some little b1tches and bunker.

Mexico is a better team..,but don't expect us to bunker...we have also played against the big boys in the last decade like Brazil, Germany, Uruguay, France, and Turkey in the 2002 WC (we owned that match) and even when we don't have our best players available we always come out to play. I know Mexico is the favorite to win this match...but don't expect us to play some pathetic bunker football like ES did against us. I have faith win or lose that we will come out to play...no Tico likes to see us bunker even if it means losing a match.

It would be the best match of the quarter-finals...but i'd rather have this match happen for the final.:D...but i doubt CONCACAF will let that happen.

That's what I want to see. to good sides going at It. no bunkering. Just nice attacking football from both sides.

Costa Rica isn't a pushover dude.

I think we will win, but regardless of the score, it will b difficult.

4-1 mexico, maybe 3-1. CR says they won't bunker but will have to in order to avoid a bigger goleada.

Welcome to the world of internet:
Lesson A: DONT FEED THE TROLL.

From the acient times of the internet back in the 90s when the first discussion forums opend, its always the same, some troll from X organization does hes thing, and a stupid fan from Y organization falls for it, not realizing there is not a single intelligent argument in the troll so argues with the troll, the troll then dicides to troll the entire Y organization offending it, so more Y organization fulls join the fray, and of course the original Y organization troll-feeder, being the full he is, decides that every single person from X organization is the same as the troll, and offends them, So by the end of it, you got all the stupidest of fans offending each other, and the troll laughing hes ass off.

    Lesson B: TO BE CONTINUED.....

why? Mexico only needs a tie to end first of the group, Costa Rica with a tie ends 2nd, and avoids the U.S.

Don't forget that El Salvador was also able to stop Mexico for an entire first half, so don't diminish Costa Rica cause they tied them.

teams in transition are always easy targets, or do you think you will always beat France from now on?

Mexico was also a team in transition at the time and I'm not sure the France example holds much weight since I don't think Costa Rica has beaten Mexico since the Aztecazo, which was 10 years ago. Who knows when we'll face France again in a meaningful game.

looks like chepo is gonna rotate players vs Costa Rica. Might as well since chico needs some rest as well as gio dos chicos. so a 1-1 would be nice for both teams.
