juan antonio pizzi and marcos senna wait - i forgot pernia. so either there are three or pizzi was not nationialized
I was thinking Di Stefano and Pizzi, was senna part of the 2006 squad? or do represent actually means playing?
this cameroon international only played at an amateur level in his home land, and then moved to russia, where he was turned down to get into a university. he continued playing at an amateur level, was spotted and then signed for professional team, and worked his way up to even be considered for the russian NT (he trained with them.) he ended up making his debut with cameroon in 2001.
the answer seems to be gabriel batistuta, but i'm also seeing people saying that a different gabriel batistuta speaks welsh, not bati gol
Great thread!! How many times has a father coached a WC side and his son(s) featured in the team? How many such combinations can you name?
@ Razzle: Correct. Did you know these or did you have to look them up? Since you didn't ask a question, here's another one from my end: Name the only player to have to to his credit a hat trick in which all the goals scored were by his right foot in one game and a hat trick of goals using the left foot in another.
name the last player to miss a world cup final due to a red card in the semi final, and who he fouled.
I think its Laurent Blanc , France vs Croatia 1998. For his 'foul' on Slaven Bilic, who in turn play acted and got Blanc the Red.
well blanc hit him straight in the face. he embellished it but blanc still hit him in the face. anyways, that's correct
If I am right, try this one: Which country has gained the most ranks in the FIFA Coca Cola ranking in one calendar year? Which country has fallen by the most in one calendar year?
