Peru's biggest accomplishment was founding a nation that luckily happened to be geographically located inside of Conmebol.

Why can't Peru effectively run a government?
Why can't Peru play soccer?
Why can't Peru have good looking people in their country?
Why CAN Peru criticize a nation superior in all aspects? (that's rhetorical kkthx)

 

That's why it's a special accomplishment that of Peru, they could have ended up like Guyana, Guiana and Suriname, but they managed to beat the odds.
