The project is stopped because of politics and money issues...

The whole expansion of "La Pastora" forest (that includes the stadium) is seen as the current Governor's baby... since those are the state land they have to be loaned to FEMSA and that affair got politicized, the PAN controls the state congress... so you can guess the rest.

There are 2 stadiums... 1 for baseball (Estadio Centenario de Béisbol - 7000 cap.) and 1 for sawker (Estadio Bicentenario de Futbol - 22000 cap.)...

I guess we can hope of a possible World Cup bid with this new stadiums popping up..

    Capillas in MFL stadiums.

I'm not sure if this is unique to stadiums in Mexico and Latin America in addition to possibly Italy and a few other European countries.

I would like to compile photos of the various chapels in MFL stadiums.

If anyone has any photos, please post here.

22,000? I doubt this would be eligible to host a WC game. I thought the minimum capacity was 40,000 for a WC game and 80,000 for a final.

Estadio Victoria of Aguascalientes is like a very small version of the Bernabeu Stadium of Real Madrid. Would be nice if Estadio Victoria could be remodeled to add more decks to look like the Real Madrid Stadium

Unfortunately that won't happen anytime soon unless maybe Mexico was awarded a World Cup.

The stadium was designed with future expansion in mind. Yet currently filling the existing seats is an issue in of itself.

this is really gona help our bid for the WC against the Nads..most of the stadiums they have put on their bid are grid iron so it takes away from the football feeling lets hope FIFA puts that into play...doubt it tho...they want the green!
