Against Jamaica's school boys Shaka Hislop who knows carribean footy says this should have been a thumping against this young inexperienced Jamaican side
Arena about Klinsmann, foreign influence: "We are advanced enough now to move the sport forward on our terms with our culture. We will eventually be the envy of every country in the world." About that "culture after '98"... World Cup 2002 (Arena): 2 wins, 1 draw, 2 losses = 7 pts World Cup 2006 (Arena): 0 wins, 1 draw, 2 losses = 1 pt World Cup 2010 (Bradley): 1 win, 2 draws, 1 loss = 5 pts ------------------------------------------------------------------ 13 pts / 12 games = 1.08 ppg World Cup 2014 (Klinsmann): 1 win, 1 draw, 2 losses = 4 pts ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 4 pts / 4 games = 1.0 ppg Those 1.08 ppg and 1.0 ppg are only slightly above the USMNT's FIFA World Cup all-time average of 0.91 ppg. Apparently Arena's much-praised "culture after '98" contains heavy doses of mediocrity and stagnation. And his MLS hacks really showed the world about those improved technical abilities of U.S. players in their recent friendlies against Serbia's C-squad and Jamaika's MLS/USL scrubs. But yeah, it's them dang foreigners, who are destroying 'Murica with their lack of grit and overall inferiority... No wonder the Yanks voted a similar type of clown into the White House.
Ha. Everyone knows Pullisic is das beste. The Greatest OF ALL TIME. http://www.denverpost.com/2017/03/25/christian-pulisic-us-soccer/
Honestly, I'd say he'll definitely become the best true #10 the US ever had. I never considered Donovan a true #10, more like a #9.5 (prolific scorer with good playmaking abilities). But even so, Donovan is still by far the best Nad of all time? Pulisic definitely has the potential to eventually surpass him. Will he? Time will tell.
do you guys remember how this thread was started and what it's intention is? i think you're confusing this with the gringo hall of fame thread.
