My comment was at the micro level specific to the midfield, not the overall performance of the managers.
That second half was an example of the difference between a team in Europe and not. We just saw out the 3-0 lead to save energy as opposed to hanging another three on them, which we still might've done if Defrel and Perotti score.
SES was money today. He busted his hump tracking back and was constantly an outlet. The Udine goal was on Moreno. The other three set a high line, and Moreno missed that memo.
If we're talking about reducing the amount of Serie A clubs because of a gulf in class, we should reduce the league to about ten teams.
No. Subs he made were Defrel in for Dzeko. Unfortunately Defrel missed a good chance to score. Would have helped his confidence. Moreno replaced Kolarov at LB and apparently was at fault for their goal by keeping their player onside. I dont know I wasnt paying full attention at that point. And Peres came in for Florenzi too. No Pelle, Gerson or Cengiz today. Good win today. Great to see El Sha get a couple. Now we just need/have to take care of Qarblebags too.
Perotti was for me the clear standout attacker. The guy is a master craftsman's on the wing. Speed, close control in areas with no space and rarely loses the ball. Its a joy watching him play for Roma. Him and SES switching at half time was interesting and good for team building, leaves us more dynamic. Good for SES as well to play on the opposite side in a dead rubber and learn to play as a winger.

Damn. I'm not sure we can afford to mess around with the kids against Qarabag , regardless of how shitty they are. It's a must win. I'd say Pellegrini would have the best chance of playing as the difference between him and Strootman is pretty minimal at the moment , imo.
Pellegrini is lazy tracking back, and Strootman and Ninja have some cohesion going right now. Maybe Qarabag are trash and we can get away with one less man defending. Idk. My heart was in my throat at one point in the 2nd half. There was a 50-50 and Ninja reacted like a guy who just heard his ankle snap. He eventually jogged back into the picture though.
God damn, that is bad. Next 4-5 will probably dictate our season. If this form carries over through October, I'm fully expecting us to challenge Napoli and Juve. I do kind of like we have a game in hand. It puts more pressure on the teams above us. Especially the Milan sides.
Haha I'm not sure I really agree with your assessment of Pellegrini. Yeah , whether they're trash or not , we can't afford to take chances. Away fixtures in obscure places always seem like trouble to me before kickoff. We absolutely need 6 points off of those guys.
Must have been the pen. It didnt look that bad in play, just looked like he tripped him up but he take him on at full pace forcing the other guy to make a lunge. These things can happen so quickly its hard to notice how bad it actually is sometimes. He'll probably miss a couple of weeks to let the stitches heal up.
He got cleated pretty good a little while before the pen. Is he saying it happened during the penalty or that he's jokingly blaming the miss on that gash?
Strootman is going to do more defending and ball winning. Take it as a compliment for him or a slight on Pellegrini. Either way, we need Strootman out there with our fullbacks bombing forward so much.
Our coming games: Qarbag(a), Milan(a), Napoli(h), Chelsea(a), Torino(a). Really tough period, we will need to be in top shape.
