I'd really like to see us play a game of football without Dzeko in the line-up for a change. His job is to score. He's not scoring. The time has surely come for him to sit on the bench for a game.
Is this really the game to pull Dzeko? I'm not so sure. Hypothetically, say we start Defrel or Schick , and it's 0-0 or worse we're down a goal or two, does Dzeko really seem like he's the impact-sub type? Bringing on his fresh legs to take advantage of tired defenders doesn't really seem Dzeko-ish. I'm pretty sure he runs at the same pace regardless of how much he's played. Plus, we have to consider his fragile confidence. Would benching Dzeko motivate him or deject him? I mean ...I can see EDF's dilemma crystal clear. This is an important 3 points at stake and it's against a surging AC Milan... It would be beyond ballsy to play Defrel or Schick at this stage ,in this game , against this opponent.

Worried about this game. Milan still aren't a very good team, but the difference is now they actually have a coach they want to play for/fear. They definitely have looked more like a team since he's taken over. Maybe even more so than we have in recent months.
