You have to go back all the way to a 3-1 win over SPAL on December 1st to find the last time we scored more than a single goal in a match. Perhaps we can manage that again here. With Radja and Pellegrini suspended, Gerson will surely start and probably in Radja's role as EdF will likely role out the 4-2-3-1 again. DDR has been out for over a month now. We could do with him back.
Not sure what the MF will look like if DDR can't go. Gonalons is still not training so that means the MF might have to be Strootman, Gerson and Florenzi with Peres (sober or not) at RB.
I also think that we'll see this midfield. But with one of our CBs at RB. Or maybe a 4-2-4 or 4-2-3-1 with one of the wingers behind Dzeko. But yeah, I'm really grateful that it's only Benevento.
Good chance, but not certain, that both DDR and even Schick will be back in the squad for this game according to EdF. He also said Gonalons is still going to be out for some time. Does anybody know what the injury is? Oddly I havent read anything more specific written about it anywhere.
It'll be 4-2-3-1 with either Defrel or Perrotti playing behind Dzeko. Flo will play at RB as usual. If DDR is fit, he'll play alongside Stroot. Otherwise it'll be Stroot and Gerson I'd imagine.
Surely this has to be a win With inter coming to a halt and Lazio slowing down 3rd should be for the taking.
Due to injuries/suspensions and Bruno we have a bench consisting of: Capradossi, Marcucci, Riccardi, Bouah and possibly Antonucci.
We just need an early goal , and we should be fine. Ideally, Dzeko would be that person. Hopefully, he won't need 10 shots.

No doubt there'll be plenty of crosses but there was a concerted effort to play through the centre more against Verona with the 4-2-3-1 and I expect the same here. Same as all these types of games, need that early goal to scupper their plans early doors and make them come out a bit more.
Well we scored our easiest goal all season (maybe ever) against them with one pass down the wing for kolarov to square it. Probably the weakest opponent I've seen in serie A. I can see them being a bit more seasoned but I don't think it will take much to get a few goals over 90 mins tbh even with a parked bus.
yea, there are a really poor team in nearly every way. I'd expect us to really pressure high since we really don't have to worry about them scoring. Only reason Roma could struggle scoring is our makeshift MF. Hopefully Gerson steps up and grabs this chance.
