The hate towards him on this forum has always been exaggerated beyond belief. You'd think we were paying the guy obscene wages.
For my part I've always said we should keep SES for the reasons you said. I just don't think he's consistent enough to be the starter. When he's on, he's as good as any winger in the league. The problem is that doesn't happen nearly enough.
Are you talking about Schick or Dzeko here? Schick has been good the last 2 games playing out of position so I don’t know what you’re on about
SInce when has SES ever gotten “hate”? Unless you count pointing out that he’s not good enough to start for a top club. Dzeko, Schick, Olsen and Kolarov get hate, but not SES.
Dzeko has scored and assisted Kolarov so obviously i'm not talking about Dzeko. Its true his not a winger and still he should contribute a lot more in attack then what his giving even if his out of position. his been good helping the defense but that's not the winger main job is it?
I'm going by the experience he has playing top football for over a decade. I expect him not pass the ball(while not even being pressed) to an opponnent(in our own half) giving them clear scoring opportunities, wrestle opponents inside our box and fail our defense's offside trap. Otherwise you have a point and we're lucky to have such a quality attacking LB.
