It has been strange ol' season. Just when you think we're getting our act together a break comes along, international or winter, and we come back playing like crap again before, once again, we find our form and string together some wins. Well, this needs to be the game that we start another one of those little spurts of good form. Of course much of the reason we find ourselves in a battle for 4th is dropped points against the likes of Chievo (and next weeks opponents Bologna). That will have to change 2nd half of the season, which above all else is (simply?) down to having and maintaining the right mentality for 90 mins, regardless of the opponent.

You think Olsen actually has a knock?

I think he pulled a muscle from picking the ball out of the net.

I’d start DDR at CB over Marcano

Away to Chievo is always a trap. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a draw here.

Don't be silly, it was for staying rooted to his line for too long.

Not saying you are wrong but his is a must win. We really need to start beating the bottom feeders if we want to reach 4th.

Well, some of you are about to get your wish : no Olsen.

Personally, I think he's better than Mirante , but let's hope I'm wrong for at least one game.

And if Jesus is back, I'd like to see him play over Marcano.

Regardless of what happens I don't see them ever handing Mirante the starting job. He's 35 so he's not going to be the GK in 2-3 years.

Monchi invested in Olsen to be the longer term solution at GK and they are probably going to live or die with him.

I think the plan was to roll with Olsen for 2-3 in the hopes of getting and developing a young GK (Fuzato) to take over. Mirante is simply insurance against injury

Every game Marcano’s started in: Roma have either lost or tied.

Every game Mirante’s started in: Roma Loss

    This should go well.

that's a pretty small sample size considering neither have played much.

Mirante; Karsdorp, Marcano, Fazio, Kolarov; Cristante, Nzonzi, Zaniolo; Schick, Dzeko, El Shaarawy

    No Manolas is always concerning.

    Pellegrini suspended.

DDR rested and hopefully ready to then lead us to victory against Porto.

    Just win.

This game is far more important than the Porto match. If we don't advance in the CL we stand to lose what, 6-8 mil? If we miss out on next years CL we stand to miss out on 50+ mil.
