Watching Cagliari vs Inter I saw Ninja pick up the ball and immediately ping a fast and accurate pass out to Luca P and I thought to myself, yep it'd take Milhouse about 5 minutes to see and attempt to execute that pass. By which time it'd be too late anyway as he'd have probably lost the ball.
Perhaps, but Ninja has character. Pretty sure I've taken dumps that had more character than Milhouse has.
I'm all for giving Milhouse some support but that comment. Ninja straight onto the pitch after a 3 day bender is still a better player.
Cristante looks much sharper than last year, but severly lacks pace and defensive awareness. And that’s what we need right now. I think he should be dropped before Pellegrini. Pellegrini also looks more mature this year, and if he is going to be b2b player, someone needs to cover for him. Diawara played a few minutes and I already think he should be a starter. He made some nice in-between lines passes which split their midfield. That’s what we need, a good passer. Kluivert made some good counterattacks which could have resulted in goals but too bad his decision making is still poor. Can’t be relied on. Don’t know what to think of Mancini, didn’t convince me. Fazio and Smalling should be our starters right know I think. Florenci had an awful game. I hope Zappa stays fit.
I think the main problem with Cristante is that we also have Pellegrini and Zaniolo. In an ideal world you'd never see two of them together in a double pivot.
While not ideal, I like that neither is complaining about where they’re played nor sulking/not trying on the field. I appreciate Cristante’s effort the last 2 matches and believe he can improve, even if he’s the most likely to sit first.
I really don't know what to think of Cristante. As I've said, I'm just going to let that one breathe this season. Like the moxie, occasionally like the instincts, but something tells me he's just never going to be a true pivot. We shall see.
He won't be a great pivot probably, but I'm waiting for the day we can use him like he was at Atalanta, higher up the field and just letting him ball. Unrelated, but Mancini will have a lot to learn. He's coming from being the spare man in a back 3 to a real back 4 here. Learning curve will take some time.
No you did not call " Monchi " out. You were riding the great American shit show with your hero Monchi steering it. You can maybe convince this forum full of idiotic dipsticks, but certainly not me.
No he didn’t. He was terrible as a DM in a midfield 3 but still great as part of a pivot. Some people want to erase everything Ninja did here for some reason. Milhouse couldn’t touch Radja on his worst day even if he was hooked up on Juve steroid program.
The ones who detest Naingollan so much, are the ones who still believe in the great American project. Bunch of numpties.
y'all are so blinded by your love for Naingollan you can't tell that was obviously a sarcastic post....
Where did Milhouse come from? Also, if the NFL wasn't back tomorrow, this international break would be torture.
