You simply dont break rank with seconds remaining at the end of the half. Its called professionalism. He broke the defensive structure. They play the quick ball and it pulls mancini wide. Yes he could have gotten closer but you got to the root of the problem to find initial fault, not the secondary.
I agree he made a bad play. Mancini’s error is far worse. I just find it weird going back to a mistake that happens multiple times every game when other players make school ground mistakes in the same play. If Belotti misses like he would 9/10 times from that angle we wouldn’t even count that attack as a chance.
Is it just me or is Dzeko actually terrible at heading the ball. Don’t think I’ve ever seen him score one under pressure.
I dont see our defenders charging out of position regularly. Florenzi is the captain, the one who is meant to set an example. He makes retarded decisions like this regularly be it volleys when hes in acres of space or random charges around the pitch like this in poor moments. There is an unwritten rules about the first 5 and last 5 mins of the half to not do dumb shit like that. Mancini is pulled out of position and is waiting for him to cut inside. It looks bad because Belotti tricked him with a shot to the front post. His mistake is not worse than the initial play to cause the space. Coaching will look to ask Florenzi what he was doing first.
I still don't like Zaniolo playing on the wing. His skill set is better suited playing in the middle of the field.
