We could have played another 50 years and not scored. They played out of their skins. They had 8 men in the box at times but still managed some decent attack. We were just not good enough to win.
Terrible result, the ball just wouldn't go in. The Under sub was terrible, not only he was poor, we also lost complete control over the game. Juan, Peres, Gonalons and Gerson had a shocking game. Schick was good, its becoming clear that he is our only option on the right.
Defrel can still catch a break. For the shit Derfrel took in the last game against Genoa, he got his knee butchered in the box and he played on injured. Unfortunately it seems a correction back to the norm having have no draws, it was bound to start happening.
I actually thought Schick was pretty poor and I didnt think Peres was too bad. The others you mentioned were shocking and I think Radja was really poor by his standards, played many loose balls
Schick was only OK. Mostly ineffective. Gerson missed an absolute sitter. You have to be putting that away. That was a key moment. He scores that and we almost certainly go on to win the game and probably comfortably. At times we gave the ball away very cheaply which didnt help our cause.
I'm not a Whittle fan either. Hate having to watch Roma games when he is commentating (thankfully rarely). Always seems to be a frustrating affair when he is commentating.
