MD15: Inter vs Roma (December 6th, 2019)

I hope our patience is rewarded.

I seriously want a young striker in January; someone who can contribute this season and succeed Dzeko next season.

 

I think the issue with him is he’s out of position, he prefers to play on the left so he’s able to cut inside and use his dribbling ability to find passing lanes in the channel

At right back he’s forced to cross, which isn’t his strength

 

Overall, good but frustrating game for both teams. Definitely a better result for us away though.

Scary how dependent we still are on Dzeko.

 

this. He has said multiple times that he feels more comfortable on the left. But I don't think he's that bad offensively (on the right). And just so much better than Santon and Florenzi defensively.

Composed and keeps it simple. Top team player. If he keeps up the defensive workrate then there can be no worries about his spot on the team for years to come. Especially if Jimmy buggers off so we dont sell every player who has a handful of good performances to the first bidder

 

Smalling got another top rating. I am surprised on his form. I don’t follow EPL but you would think he would have been a regular starter at Man U or anywhere else in England.
