Paulo Fonseca: “Dzeko trained with us today & is ready to play (tomorrow).” pic.twitter.com/yzMhxEZ08U— CalcioASRoma (@CalcioASRoma) December 5, 2019
I can report that both myself and Dzeko have recovered from the fevers we had early this week. We have both made ourselves available to Fonseca for selection for tomorrow’s match. Regards,

Pau Lopez in doubt for tonight against Inter as muscular problem arises https://t.co/AdIN3r6aXa— RomaPress (@ASRomaPress) December 6, 2019 uhhhhjj?
Looks like Dzeko will miss the match, we are very depleted unfortunately. Probably Zaniolo will start up front.
Well now confirmed by Sky Italia: Lopez and Dzeko OUT vs Inter. Mirante will start in net and Zaniolo will start as CF with Micki, Pellegrini & Perotti playing behind him. pic.twitter.com/wRjDiUGK3y— CalcioASRoma (@CalcioASRoma) December 6, 2019 Normally I’d be comfortable with Mirante but he just came back from injury few days ago.
Going to be interesting with both of us missing multiple big players. I'm hoping since their's are concentrated in the midfield it has a bigger influence on their play.
Official formation AS Roma (4-2-3-1): Mirante; Santon, Mancini, Smalling, Kolarov; Diawara, Veretout; Mkhitaryan, Pellegrini, Perotti; Zaniolo pic.twitter.com/nzncvZXKel— RomaPress (@ASRomaPress) December 6, 2019
This is starting to concern me. I know Spinny was hurt but he's supposedly been back for a few games now.
For some reason Roma fans on CdT has been begging to see Zaniolo as a striker for months. Let’s see how it goes
Bring it on. Shame about Dzeko, who would surely have been fully up for this game, but perhaps the loss of Pau is potentially even more problematic. But, such is life. We know Mirante is solid enough when on form, so lets just hope he's not too rusty tonight. I think this game is winnable if we perform but a draw is of course, fine. Sure Inter are top, but they have had their fair share of wins by a solitary goal, so they havent exactly been blowing away all comers. Tough game ahead for sure, but winnable I think.
He played half an hour in EL last week and has only missed the games against Brescia and Hellas. They probably don't want to rush him back because that's how he got his latest injury.
Santon is done. Was just about to say I like the 3 behind Zaniolo. It's very flexible and we see Perotti just move in and Pellegrini move wide. Same can happen for Mika. 3 clever technical players.
