Well it's back to Rome for me for this match. Injuries abound. Gotta say I'm a little peeved the two games I'm in Rome for have coincided with such a shitty injury situation. (Especially woulda been nice to catch DDR in action). Ah well, such is life. I hope for a better result and no ridiculous missed chances (unfortunately I had a very good view of that 'Under and over' miss).
The team pretty much picks itself right now Olsen Flo - Manolas - Fazio - Kola Nzonzi - Cristante Under - Zaniolo - Kluivert Schick Maybe Santon as RB and Flo as RW but thats about the only change i can see if EDF wants a more conservative approach
Word is that Under picked up an injury at the end of todays training. At the very least he won't be 100% for tomorrow. Good times.
Im starting to wonder about our training regime. This much injuries and december just started... no coppa italia yet and this squad is supposedly deeper than any squad in recent memory if not ever. Coincidence or is there something here?
This squad is decimated by injuries every single year. None of this really shocks me. That being said, its moments like these that opens the door to youngsters to show what they can do. Personally I'm looking forward to the possibility of seeing more of Zaniolo
What, so he will miss sitter after sitter. To be honest, I would take a unfit non striker then our Iturbe.
We were not winning playing the veterans so I'm all for playing the kids. Give them a chance to learn and grow and show some confidence in them.
Just a little information for everyone. We are 9th, yes 9th. That is the success your heroes have given us. I bet Spalletti can't wait to humiliate us tonight. Pathetic, shameful from most of you on this forum aswell.
Olsen; Santon, Manolas, Juan Jesus, Kolarov; Cristante, Nzonzi; Florenzi, Zaniolo, Under; Schick Looks like Florenzi on the wing.
Zaniolo is damn impressive. I thought we would lose the Ninja deal this first year, but with Santon and Zaniolo playing well, I don't think we are.
