Should be a battle. I have watched Genoa a few times this season and the results have been very harsh. Hard fought 1 or maybe 2 goal win in the end for us today.
Well I'm hoping for a comfortable win (couple goals maybe) but I doubt it'll be so comfortable that Schick will get a run out today.
Arguably our best CB pairing today. JJ is better on the ball and a better passer than Manolas. Being left footed he gives us better balance too. There's not much between their defensive abilities either. Mano is quicker and slightly better in the air. Dont let me down now JJ!
If Dzeko was a diver, he could've drawn a penalty there. Defender pushed him in the back with both hands.
Handball not called on Genoa. Certainly not intentional but I've never seen a guy keep his arms down but still have elbows out.
Yup, and it doesn't help that Genoa are happy taking a point from this game. They're sending two guys forward on counters to lob a cross into our giants.
Generally a tough game in Genoa. Still see a 1,2-0 win by the end of it though. The ugly league games you need to grind out.
