Fcuk Knobotelli Meanwhile, Balotelli was reportedly sent off from a Brescia training session Thursday by coach Fabio Grosso for lack of dedication. What a joker
How is Pastore? Can Pellegrini and Mkhitaryan play from the start? Has Florenzi’s hour come? We’ll see tomorrow about Florenzi. My decision is always the same, when I want to put a player in: it’s merely a choice of mine. If I think Florenzi should play then he’ll play. He’s our captain, let’s see tomorrow. Spinazzola is not ready, he started training two days ago but he is not ready for the match. Miki is recovering and has trained with us for three days but he is not ready yet. Both he and Spinazzola will be ready for the next game. Finally, Pastore has a hip bruise, we decided that he is not ready for the match and will not be called. Pellegrini is ready to play. Not quite, judging by this. I guess we'll be seeing this tomorrow then: Lopez Florenzi/Santon Smaldini Mancini/Fazio Kolarov Veretout Diawara Zaniolo Pellegrini/Under Kluivert Dzeko We ran out of steam at the end of the last stretch of games. Hopefully, with a few players coming back, we can better negotiate this next stretch of fixtures.
Like you, a player I appreciate a lot. But I fear all those injuries have taken their toll and the writing is on the wall for him. We'll see what lies ahead for him, but right now I dont think he deserves to start ahead of Kluivert, who has been coming along nicely this season under Fonseca.
Kluivert has and we've had a nice run or form for the most part over the past 6 weeks but there's still room for his talent. He looked decent in the games he played since coming back. Looking for the ball and driving into the dangerous spaces. Games against teams who look keep it tight will still leave him a very valuable asset.
Atalanta, Napoli and Milan all dropped points, we need to win this and gain ground. I included Milan only for my amusement.

This is Florenzi’s first start since the Atalanta match where he notoriously just stood there during the set piece when Atalanta made it 0-2... Really not looking forward to him starting again if I’m being honest.
I've seen numerous games now where we've come out 2nd half and played much better. Hopefully the same today because that 1st half was fairly uninspired.
Diawara has been decent. Reads the field well and gets it out quickly. It's obviously a tea party for him offensively because Brescia have made no attempt to have a midfield, but he's won a few balls too. I'm gonna keep trying to will Kluivert's creativity and individual flair into existence. He's been 1v1 on their fullback more than once and just looked for the easy back pass each time.
Ha, thanks. I came back for Smalldini memes. There's a wee Romanista who has kept me busy lately. That, and the Roma cycle of mediocre to okay, back to mediocre can get exhausting. Edit: Speak of the Dini.
