Regardless of my vote, your post is a chance, hopefully, for some kidding around. But, on a serious note: I gather you're an AO, true? I'm also gathering that the AOs' culture is more of a men's soccer culture, true? If the answer to my questions is, "true," it explains a lot. I actually don't like some of the negative, hostile, and/or arrogant aspects of a lot of the posts from what appear to be men's soccer fans who have come to the BS women's forums just for the WWC. Although I have considered some of the more regular posters on the women's forums to be obnoxious and irritating, by and large they come off well when compared to some of the posters who have appeared here only for the WWC. It's too bad, because ordinarily the posts on the women's forums are well informed, well thought out, and well written; whereas in all three of those areas they have deteriorated during the WWC. I don't want to attribute this necessarily to the AOs, but is that where some of it comes from? If you're an AO, you can provide some insight on this. I don't know any AOs, so I can't say and am asking a real question about them. PS - In case you're wondering, I'm a male, if that has something to do with my reactions to some of the posts I've been seeing. I'm also old, which may put me back in an era of different manners. Who I am also is easily discover-able by anyone who wants to know, which signifies in part that I don't believe in posting anything that I wouldn't want my friends and acquaintances to know I'd posted -- it's part of how I try to keep myself from posting like an idiot.
And we think you are too. (Anybody who resorts to name calling or personal insults as their attempt to argue or supports someone doing such things is certainly not beneficial to this board)
I assume that's supposed to be a response to me since no one else has posted since your last post, and once again I must say it's not really a response to what I said. But that's cool, you keep being you!
