So I think the pass was hit too hard and if front of him too far. Plus it bounced. The guy could have put it on a platter for him and he made it tough. Wright has to score there but the pass was garbage for how easy a play it was. And then the commentator soiled himself about it.
Haji Wright’s miss today. 😅 https://t.co/Lh8MquMLGp— Arthur Kogan (@artur_kogan) January 20, 2019 I mean on second look that’s a bad bad miss. He did have a couple other decent moments in his cameo.

JAB is a point defender. He's Wolfsburg #10 from CD. Unfortunate that Wright missed he looked much improved other than that and has improved a lot from what I felt was his real weakness - hustle. He obviously is a bit nervous and still pressing but he may be about to settle down and start playing. Also if Tataguie is as good as advertised and can stay healthy I can't think of team that needs an attacking spark than Schalke. Question is will Tedesco think that too or tinker and play him everywhere like he has with McKennie?
Wright did have a play were he held the ball up under pressure and beat the defender along the end line allowing him to carry the ball into the box. He then went down and lost the ball. He also had another sequence were he was able to carry the ball into the box, but nothing came of it. McKennie's assist: Full highlights are below. Brooks switch at :09 that starts a sequence leading to a good Wolfsburg chance. McKennie run and cross at 1:26 leading to a saved Uth shot.
