    And deservedly so!

    GO MACCA!! :D

And according to the preview on Fulham's site, I'm going to pay tribute to the form guides and say he scores again...

Both he and Carlos Bocanegra should keep their starting places -- with Boca hopefully remaining in the center of Fulham's defense.

    More on Macca...

New deal on cards for McBride -- sportinglife.com

    And the team news...

7 a.m. PT/10 a.m. ET, 2 a.m. Melbourne time for this one, no idea on the TV plans.

    And the game is on!

5th minute -- McBride draws a foul early, in a dangerous position...

Foul by Gary O'Neil (Portsmouth) on Brian McBride (Fulham). Direct free kick taken left-footed by Alain Goma (Fulham) from own half, passed.

    Scoreless, after six minutes.

15th minute -- Another chance from Macca goes wanting...

Outswinging corner from right by-line taken right-footed by Ahmad Elrich (Fulham) to near post, header by Brian McBride (Fulham) from centre of penalty area (12 yards), missed left.

    Still nil-all...

Is Boca getting at least partially blamed for the three goals against Villa? Or just resting? No one else from Wed is sitting...

This could be bad ... let's pray not --

McBride off the pitch holding his shoulder looks to be in a great deal of pain.

Now Helguson is injured. Looks like Collins John in for Helguson early in the match. -- McBride back on the pitch but its unclear how he is doing.

Where are you getting the visuals from?

Also, if Macca's back out there and running, that's half the battle; he can't be that badly hurt.

No visuals -- Gentleman Jim's descriptions only. No mention of McBride's form recently. I assume/hope he's okay.

Yellow to Rosenior around the 40th in a dangerous spot. Fortunately, Portsmouth puts it over the bar.

Goal Portsmout. Apparently should have been a handball by O'Neill.

Gentleman Jim still complaining about the lack of a handball call -- "O'Neill got away with murder there." Apparently, the handball was quite obvious and should have been called.

Glancing header by McBride in the box goes out for a goalkick in stoppage time.

Corner to Fulham at the death of the first half. Awful, apparently.

Unclear. Boca sat in the Boxing Day match as well. I'm hopeful that, at some point, he and Goma will get the start together as that clearly seems to be Fulham's best central pairing imo. Notably, Knight is the sole centreback to start all threee of the last matches.

And the worst one they got imo.

Is it just me or does it seem there has been a epidemic of uncalled handballs in England the last week? ;)

Hopefully, Barros has gotten the only non-call he's going to get. That play was obscene last week.
