Mayen, Arguez to MLS Impact

    Well Mayen was on loan from Chivas USA, so if any money was made it went to them. Arguez, maybe.

    They were 2 of the players, especially Arguez, that enabled the Strikers to make the run to the final. Evidently other folks noticed their contribution, too. They'll be missed, but they've earned a shot at MLS, or higher. I wish them both the best of luck and thanks for the memories...:)

    We had several players that helped to make the run. Restrepo was not recognized nearly enough for his contributions. He showed real flashes of brilliance and if he comes back next year, I think we will see more of the same.

    Restrepo's goal against Carolina was a beauty.

    Mayen was never coming back in all likelihood, but he can be offset by Paulo Jr.'s loan ending if that's how the terms were set up. Arguez definitely deserves a shot in the MLS, but he'll certainly be missed.
