Matthew O played left back the first half, and right back the second half against Tottenham U23 reserves. His attack from the left deftly split two defenders before he handed it off to Harrop's score viewed on the MUTV app downloaded from Manchester United's web site. Manchester Evening News predicts he will play this Sunday vs. Palace... Mourinho has listed all the youth players he expects to start on Sunday in his press conference today and didn't namecheck Olosunde: Jose on Sunday's squad: "Joel and O'Hara. Mitchell. Harrop. Gomes. McTominey. Fosu-Mensah. Axel. Plus 3/4 first-team players to play 1 half"— Simon Stone (@sistoney67) May 19, 2017
Long profile on Olosunde: http://www.manchestereveningnews.co...l-news/man-utd-news-matthew-olosunde-13046545 And they confuse the IMG Academy with USSF Residency: When he went on to join the International Management Group's residency programme in Florida, where Landon Donovan once flourished, Olosunde continued his studies.
Olosunde did not play any part in the final match day with the first team... a 2 - 0 victory over Crystal Palace
I can't believe an unsourced article in the Manchester Evening News that did not contain a single quote was wrong!
It's a good thing he went to United rather than one of the big European powerhouses. More opportunity to make the team.
Complete fluff piece about Olosunde trying to emulate Valencia. Always good to see a player be name checked by the team's official site, however. http://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-F...ign=ManUtd&utm_medium=post&utm_source=twitter
We are delighted to welcome @ManUtd's @matt_olosunde to OmniSports! Great player with a huge future! pic.twitter.com/WLlJ5LZgSL— OmniSports (@OmniSports_) June 29, 2017 Nothing big here, but he has signed to a new Agency in England. Some group who represents Chris Smalling and Keiran O'Hara at United.

Olosunde subbed on at the half in a win over Oldham today. Nothing of note, really, except he did not start. Hard to see him ever panning out at United. http://www.manutd.com/en/Players-An...e=twitter&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=ManUtd
In a perfect world, either a Championship, 1. Bundesliga or 2. Bundesliga team. In my amateur opinion, 1st team games = development. Half games in the reserves won't help him. Olosunde has incredible physical tools, he just needs to hone his tactical acumen and mental game through experience.
Olosunde starts the season opener against Leicester City for the reserves. Reserves: #MUFC v Leicester (A) - O'Hara, Olosunde, Warren, Williams, Mitchell, Willock, McTominay, Riley, Boonen, Kehinde, Bohui.— Manchester United (@ManUtd) August 14, 2017
I have been playing FIFA 18 Beta and he shows up with Man U. For some reason it surprised me each time.
No mention of young Olosunde in the match report, despite playing the full 90. United dominated much of the game, though the final 20 were spent weathering the Foxes' storm. Good sign, I guess, that Olosunde started and was not taken out of the 1st match of the season. He needs 1st team action, though, to take the next step. In Manchester, or elsewhere. http://www.manutd.com/en/Fixtures-A...EBA5E7A&utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
Olosunde played the full 90, though once again was not mentioned in the brief writeup. Pros: 2 starts, no substitutions. Cons: Being a Gray Man isn't going to get you a place at Old Trafford long term. Hopefully he takes another step fprward this season. http://www.manutd.com/en/Fixtures-A...ign=ManUtd&utm_medium=post&utm_source=twitter
how many players does this make now that we have had playing for United? whether with the first team or the reserves/academy?
Starts in PL2: Reserves: #MUFC v Tottenham (A) - Richardson, Olosunde, Warren, Tuanzebe, Shaw, Hamilton, McTominay, Bohui, Boonen, Mitchell, Wilson.— Manchester United (@ManUtd) August 25, 2017
Hmm: Kirovski, Thorington Spector Cooper Jim Brown played for Man United from 1932-34 Tim Howard Ed McIlveney 1950
3-0 at the half to Spurs. Per Manchester Evening News' livefeed, apparently the entire team was trash for pretty much the entire half. Defenders especially. No Olosunde specific notes, guilty by association.
