There was a 365 article a week ago or so explaining how he ended up at Siegen. Dallman is now 2 games in with Sportfruende and has 3 goals. Video of his brace against Weidenbruck on this site.. http://www.nannitat-tv.de/44741.html
what division is that? It looked like a high-school game. I gotta start bringing a video camera to our weekly pick-up game.
Siegen plays in the NRW-Liga, which is at the fifth division in Germany. Only the first three divisions are at the national level. 1.Bundesliga 2.Bundesliga 3.Bundesliga Regionalliga Nord, West, Süd (north, west, south) Oberliga (f.e. NRW-Liga or Hamburg-Liga). The NRW-Liga is the highest division where only teams from NRW (Northrhine-Westphalia) are playing. There are obviously also teams from NRW in the higher divisions, f.e. in 1.Bundesliga Schalke, Dortmund, Köln, M'Gladbach, Leverkusen, Bielefeld. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_football_league_system
He is still at Siegen entering into the new season http://www.sportfreunde-siegen.de/Inhalte/Mannschaften/Herren/DieErste.html
Matt Dallman and Leland Wright have both had their contracts terminated with Siegen effective the end of the month. http://www.sportfreunde-siegen.de/Aktuelles/2012/1/25/Dallman-und-Wright-verlassen-Sportfreunde/ We would like to thank both Players for their contributions with the Sportfreunde however we looked at the difficult 2nd half schedule and the desire for Regionalliga Promotion which requires us to concentrate our strength. This means we also have to look at cost effectiveness with all of our Players and after talking to Leland and Matthew we all agreed that this (termination) is the correct step. I want to wish them luck etc. etc......
Dallman is currently on trial with Chivas USA. He apparently had an assist in their most recent preseason match.
Dallman says Chivas are allowing him to train with the club to get in shape. But apparently he has looked surprisiningly good at left back and may have a shot to join the club.
Dallman didn't get a contract from Chivas USA but is staying the States. He signed with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. http://www.riverhounds.com/home/649145.html
Retired and coaching: A true professional — literally — will be leading The Dalles High School boys soccer team this fall. #Matthew Dallman, who played on a professional level for nine years — most recently with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds of the United Soccer League — has been hired to be the new head coach for the Riverhawks. http://www.thedalleschronicle.com/news/2016/jul/16/dallman-coach-tdhs-soccer/
Snip: Dallman, 31, has started the Gorge Soccer Academy — a year-round youth soccer academy that will host skills clinics in The Dalles and at Hood River Middle School starting Nov. 7. #A 2003 Hood River Valley High School (HRVHS) graduate who was a standout player for both HRV and the University of Portland, Dallman recently returned to Hood River following his professional career in Europe and the U.S. to take a job as head coach of The Dalles High School’s varsity soccer team. A side note: Dallman’s grandfather, Tony Dallman, was the head coach of HRV’s girls soccer varsity program in the mid 1990s. A midfielder, Dallman was most recently with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds of the United Soccer League (USL), where he holds both the single-season and all-time assists record for that league. http://www.hoodrivernews.com/news/2016/sep/28/hrvhs-graduate-and-soccer-pro-starts-gorge-soccer-/
