In news that will surprise absolutely no one at all, 26 year old Matt Polster is not in the 18 to face Legia away in the Europa.

Starts for the Rangers reserves/U-20s in a cup match, for the sake of clarity.

Considering his age, bet everybody else in that team calls him "sir."

Bet it’s another “s” word behind his back.

Shoot, getting paid to play football in Scotland and galavant about the hills. Worth it just to see all the castles. Call me Sir, m’am if you please.

Made the bench in the match following this, but hasn't been in the squad in the 10 matches since, including today.

Any rumors about a move away from Rangers? This is clearly not working out for him.

Wow, Polster made the bench and actually played!!

He was subbed in for Ryan Kent (a left winger??) in the 84th minute of a 0-2 win at Motherwell. Rangers were down to 10 men at the time.

    Edit: Evidence:

    I think it's subtle sarcasm.

Their entire way of speaking the language is subtle sarcasm or melodramatic understatement.

I’ll excuse the Scouse. Because they are not only full of grace and joy, but endlessly funny. My abs hurt just thinking about it.

Didn't make the bench for the year end Derby as Gers win 2-1. (Dafoe did not get off the bench. Gers are 2 back of Celtic with an extra game yet to play.)
