In order for Honduras to advance they have to win by 2-0 and France has to win by 3-0 or vise versa

If Honduras advance that will be the end of the tournament because hell and Manaus will have frozen over.

France are gambling with a B team, what if they only finish second?

Thanks. Looks good. Glad a few players are resting before the next round.

I'm glad Schneiderlin gets to start.

Early goal by Shaqiri not a good start for any hopes Honduras has to advance. Cracker of a goal though.

Is that a Swiss team or is that the nucleus of a future Kosovo National Football team....

Well to be fair I have been lurking the forums for a while I just never made an account/profile but I'm not a troll just a USA fan who roots for fellow Concacaf members

Can we focus on the games and talk about them rather than accusing other posters? Thank you!

If the Swiss make it 3 and keep it that way Ecuador would need 2-0 at least to progress

As said in another thread.. the funniest thing about this is that Honduras will be back for Russia 2018 unless another team in our region steps up.

    So the wait continues.

Panama came pretty close, but they would probably fare pretty badly too.

Hate to break it to you, but that was gonna be their best bet as ever to make the World Cup for a long time.

They're pillars are too old, Baloy, Tejada, Perez etc, to play another cycle and their replacements aren't too hot. Plus their new coach isn't exactly the best.

Hey...my dog is named after Marvin Chavez! But I wouldn't mind getting Muma back for the Earthquakes game on Saturday.

That Benzema goal at the very end of the last match should have counted maybe.

Stupid foul by Antonio Valencia red card out! 10 men Ecuador is effectively eliminated.
