omg, pedro so close. that would have been a brilliant shot with the ball ALWAYS wanting to move wide.

I unplugged my headphones and just put on music. Commentators are clueless these days. Now if Bill Walton knew football..

Would be interested to see us drop 1 of our 3 attackers in favor of having a 3 man midfield. Diego/Eden up top.

That's it 1-1 but we should have won with that pen

Michy with his obligatory 30 second cameo.

We probably should have won that, but a draw is fine.

Kante is an absolute beast. He doesn't always keep a hold of the ball but his ability to recover is unbelievable. He is always there. What a buy he was.

Really good result in the scheme of things.

at the end of the day, the gap is intact or growing, during a HUGE away day and the team played well and had chances to win. i am LOVING this chelsea team under Conte.

should have won, but really we didn't create very much and have to be happy with a point

Still felt like the PK was very rushed. I had very little confidence he was going to convert it

I looked up Diego PK history. 14 makes but today was 5th miss

no KLOPP is an animal. when is he going to get warnings for literally spitting in the face of the fourth official. i know he's a nice guy, and almost always ends up being light hearted but man, he gets in faces quite often.

After Arsenal at the weekend (and we have to fancy that right now), we have City at home and Utd away from the top 6. That's it for our final 15 matches. And we have been excellent against the rest of the league so have to expect Conte has our squad laser focused. What a season so far!

Guys, it's January and I'm starting to believe. A sure sign the Apocalypse is nigh.

Kante is the Terminator. Just when you think he's gone, he reappears. He has two sole missions: Kill Sarah Connor, and dominate opposition midfields.

Exactly. This is what I meant @Dr_Intoxicated regarding results. We actually increased our lead today because Arsenal lost.

Yes I was keeping and eye on the other results and the Spuds dropped points as well. I take it the other teams in game thread rule is no more.

I posted in the other teams thread as I wasn't sure either. But I tend to err on the side of caution :D

Generally speaking though, if you really want to avoid other teams results, don't be online. Like, at all.

Luiz being interviewed about the goal. "You have to see the opportunity " Good that he lasted the game too

Ugh, should have been ours. Never felt comfortable with Costs taking the PK. All that said, we have a 9 point gap. Not too shabby.
