This week is the return leg from last week's fixtures.

    Good Luck!!

Another week, another bot. This is the strangest schedule I've ever had. There are three real owners in the league, and I played them the first leg in weeks 1 and 2. It's nothing but bots until the last two weeks of the season. It's to the point where I'm wondering if I can PIC until then and then MOTS the last two in a row.

I make my home debut in my brand new 30500 seat stadium this week in my all bot series, better have some good weather.

Havent posted in awhile but VI in Canada has been a breeze... Im 31st of 8192 teams in VI. Will have 3 outstanding scorers and hopefully buy a brilliant PM midfielder before I hit V next season.

Still sitting in second in VI.501. The team below me is shaping up and the team above me is too strong. I face them both in the last two weeks. I'm definitely doing MOTS for the last game. This week, however, should be a piece of cake.

Up 4-2 at home with 80% possestion, a little surprised to have given up two goals in the first half. I beat this guy 8-0 at his place last week.

another shocking victory on the way for my boys, up 5-1 in the 66th minute...

despite havinglost possession (albeit 51-49) in the first half
and probably going to be out hatstatted by like 30 points

if rednecks and badgers draw today (very possible, badgers is in the cup and fielding a weak side)- I just might pull 3 points in front in my ridiculous top 5 d.v series! (v.229)

lost 2-1, fell to second, I play first place at my place next week, in a match that could go a long ways to deciding the series. :)

I am without my number 2 forward though due to 3rd yellow, but at least I have a decent backup.

Won 10-0 and got some favors in the goal difference category, but I did lose two IM's for next week through a 3rd yellow and a +3. I might buy a winger in the next couple weeks now to help out.

Won 4-3 against a team I beat 6-2 at home last week.

    Through 8 matches, I have 21 pts and a +16 goal differential...

And that leaves me in a distant 2nd place. 1st Place team has 24 pts, +31, and beat me 5-0 in week 2. His team also routinely hatstats around 160 and I hatstat around 110. In short, I'll enjoy next season in D.VI as well.

Won 7-1 at home against a team I beat 0-8 last week. My best central defender got shown the red, but next week's team is worse so no big deal.

Easy 7-0 PIC win for me, concluding a 13-0 home and away against the #4 from last season.

Set's up a HUGE game next weekend against the #3, who beat me at home earlier this season during Cup week 7.

Lost 6-1 on the road. Beat him 4-1 last week.

I MOTSed it last week and today I saw the difference. Lost my best defender due to a 3rd yellow and I play the 2nd place team next week. They beat me 6-0 a 2 weeks ago.

Are you using any tools to decide your line-up and/or formation choices?

I refuse to believe your team is this bad. With very minor purchases I was competitive, very quickly.

I use Tomattrick. I run a 3-5-2 with Attacks up the middle. I've lost 2 of my best guys to injury. These are my results so far:

    1/4/2007 (Friendly): Frigos - Northwood FC 4 - 0
    1/8/2007 (League): Northwood FC - Warshire F.C. 0 - 1
    1/11/2007 (Friendly): Northwood FC - Springfield Isotopes of Boston 0 - 4
    1/15/2007 (League): FC LaSalle - Northwood FC 6 - 0
    1/18/2007 (Friendly): FC Tucson - Northwood FC 9 - 1
    1/22/2007 (League): Northwood FC - F.K. Ohrid 4 - 0
    1/25/2007 (Friendly): Henderson United - Northwood FC 4 - 1
    1/29/2007 (League): F.K. Ohrid - Northwood FC 6 - 1

I just find it encouraging I've been scoring. That's a definite improvement. The IGN losses are understandable because those teams are just far superior to mine, but the league games are a cause for concern.

Easy 4-0 win, PIC at home against the (now former) division leader. Up to 3rd now and in good shape to win out the rest of this seasons league matches.

Ended up winning 6-2, played AOW and probably should have played it normal. Still on course for 42pts and promotion.
