Has anyone north of our back line (except Ochoa) actually won a 50/50 ball in the air this game?

We just held our own against a damn good team while on the road. Not bad. Finish strong, boys!

At a certain point, you have to wonder whether it's the system or the players.

Now over TEN HALVES WITHOUT A GOAL.

I can see the frustration, especially when you lose on a chickenshit PK call like that. However, Ochoa needs to own this one, in that he was three yards in front of the goal, with no GK, and managed to screw the pooch.

    Feh.

That wasn't the strong finish I was hoping for......and frankly, this style of play is getting hard to watch.

The empty bucket is not the way to win, especially when we don't have big target forwards. Other than that, I can't put my finger on what the problem is. There's just a complete lack of chances created.

I know this is a better team than this streak is showing, I hope we figure it out.

This offense is positively Yallopian in scope.

At least Yallop had Lenhart and Gordon as potential targets when the outer mids and backs hoofed their prayer crosses into the middle.

Right now, Ochoa needs to start a match on the bench - he had two obvious golden opportunities that a true goal-scorer would have potted last night.

So, does anyone think that this drought has anything to do with Moffat being out? We've 9 pts. in 4 games with him, 1 pt. in five games without. IMO, I think we move the ball up the middle of the pitch better with him on the field.

Interesting observation, I do wonder if that's a missing piece
