Saturday, April 13, 5:00 pm TV: ESPN+ @ Portland Timbers 2 Merlo Field This one could not be more evenly matched. Portland came from 2 goals behind at half to beat OKC 3-2 last week in stoppage time, while Sacramento midfielder Jaime Villarreal scored the match winner against Austin Bold FC and was named to the USL Championship Team of the Week (Week 5). Haven't seen SRFC post any watch party information, but I will update throughout the week. In homage to the Timbers firing up the chain saw at every goal, I will be firing off my cannon for every SRFC goal scored. Follow the broken windows to my watch party.....

That was a disappointment. We probably should have gotten a point from that had it not been for Shannon reaching out for that cross. I don't think Portland would have scored on us. Having said that, I don't think we had a goal in us, either. It's still early in the year but I'm getting that uneasy feeling our offense is no better than in recent years.
Looks like Bijev's second yellow at the T2 game was rescinded by the USL, and he will be available for the April 27th game. Chantzopolous' red card at the same game was upheld, and he received a one-game suspension. He will not be available for the April 27th game. https://www.uslchampionship.com/news_article/show/1013608
