I had been almost persuaded that it could have been a penalty, after all, then Alexi Lalas in the Fox "Tour Eiffel terrace" studio defended it vehemently, so I understood it had to be a wrong call!
She chose to protest over her dreams and her teammates. I have no objection with the object of the protest, but it should be protested as a team, not individually. She will come to regret skipping a WC and abandoning her teammates.
