The Sak thing helps, but as they say on FIFA '12-16, TFC will have too much in the locker for them. Curtin's still coaching, right?
After Wednesday's loss and SakOut today, the storylines for this game are few and far between with Toronto able to clinch a playoff spot with a win. If Vitoria and Aristeguieta play as much as they did on Wednesday, they are gone. If they play, they have a shot at returning but at reduced $. Blake seems likely to finish the season as the starter so the goalie carousel can finally stop. Wenger may get some time at outside back to keep him far away from the penalty spot. Youngsters like Ayuk and Pfeffer may get more minutes than usual.
its Jimmy McLaughlin time baby. wonder if they can sign Cristian Hernandez on loan from his CASA team. I honestly forgot McLaughlin was still on the team until a saw a retweet of him saying something about the Open Cup
Team still sucks and TFC have something to play for = loss. Montreal will surely get the point they need to eliminate us anyway. Don't mind, though, there is hope for the future now!
Not that I think Curtin necessarily needs to go immediately, but this just made me laugh out loud. Cheers. How can it be kept? They now have helicopter rides to pay for.
Toronto is gonna stomp us. The team is probably on autopilot for the rest of the season and I honestly don't expect a win for the rest of the season.
If Nogs is not going to stay I almost don't want him to play. Let my last memories of him be the beautiful thru balls cross field to Seba. I don't think I've ever seen a better ball live and may not ever see one like that again. Truly, passes like that make it a beautiful game...Thank you for that Vincent.
Wenger getting the start at LB today. Aristeguieta and Vitoria starting, probably so they can do final evals. Nogs, Barnetta, Le Toux, Fab all on the bench.
Speaking of, did anyone see Candymans Twitter defense of Wenger? Where he implies Fab didn't want to "step up" for the PK? I saw him trying to stretch his groin and limping after that touchline run past Zusi. If you want to defend your pal, fine, but the dig at a guy who ran his ass off for 120 is bit much. 649410629762068480 is not a valid tweet id
650400245415702528 is not a valid tweet id And the bench: John McCarthy, Ethan White, Fabinho, Warren Creavalle, Vincent Nogueira, Sebastien Le Toux and Tranquillo Barnetta. #DOOP— Philadelphia Union (@PhilaUnion) October 3, 2015 Line-up is about what I expected for a road game on turf after Wednesday's 120 minutes +. Nogs, Barnetta, Le Toux and Fabinho on the bench - Edu out - high price loan players (Nando, Vitoria) in the XI - Wenger tried at LB, Sapong at LM, Blake in goal.
Yellows coming early for the Union- Lahoud and Vitoria already in the book. Union likely will not end with 11 players by the end of the game. 1-0 TFC after Giovinco blasts a free kick off the back of Gaddis and it loops into the net.
