Slept through my alarm and woke up to see 2-2 in 30 mins. What's going on?

As good as Rudi is this is not just about missing one man imo. He's not going to a be a silver bullet. The problems here are much deeper.

Love Dave but he's gotta go at this point. This whole season he's been a swinging gate. Is it bad that so much hope is being pinned on a youngster who has essentially zero experience to get healthy and step in?

Pulisic has some nice touches but he does come across as a little fragile at times. Has to get stronger for this league.

Attack looking potent and Mount is great once again

Defense is a complete joke once again

    So nothing new really

While he cant play in all 4 positions, he will organize that unit which is currently headless, which is a particular concern when you consider it includes our captain.

There are more issues but we are much improved with rudiger back there, we just dont really know by how much.

I would certainly be spending the majority of my money on the back when we next can spend though.

Entertaining first half, about what I expected given how these teams play. It's why I woke up early (I would have happily slept through my alarm last season).

Hope we see a better second half this week. We aren't playing helter skelter so should have plenty in the tank.

He isn't used to it yet but he seems more comfortable in transition, aware of what's around him than a lot of our team at times. Finished the half well.

Their two goals required so little effort it's sad to see.

It is also the tactics. Zouma is just not cut out to play such a high line. Without Kante, we are so much more vulnerable.

For all my bitching about the defending, this is definitely true

Definitely. He is getting more involved and starting to see the movement of his team mates which I hoped would be the case. His role as a connector is important.

Watching their goals again, jorginho needs to be more aggressive in staying on the ball holder (and does little going forward so could easily put more effort on the defensive end). Confidence is clearly not high in our final third and it feeds the problem.

Right. I wonder whether with the same approach and a first choice back line it we would be better. But given AC was the one who couldnt get back in time, probably not.....

I think that's the point. Norwich have played quite well but, tbh, they have't had to to score their goals.

Wasn't that shot deflected? Should have been a corner.

We need to cut out the speculative shots, let's them off the hook too easily.

I like the use of traditional corners. Mount puts a dangerous ball in the box which causes problems.

Looked like Ac might have been chopped down from behind... no free kick.

Really starting to dictate the play in the last 5-6 minutes. Should make something out of this but man Barkley is wasteful

Mazy little run from Barkley there. Need more of that against a team not noted for their defence (he'd be really effective against us!)

Hacking bunch of lads these canaries. Tammy had his ankles bitten a fair amount today.

The thing about Barkeley is, he#s OK as long as he doesn't have time to THINK about it.

Emerson with a nice run and shot. He's been quite good going forward imo

His passing hasn't really been great (wasteful at times) and the shot was straight at krul. Given the time he was given should have done better.

He is getting in some good areas though.
